CAS Card & Blog Candy Winner

This is a super simple card I made for the inspiration challenge last week at StampTV. The challenge was to use stars. My kids were doing the miraculous and napping at the same time so I needed something clean and simple that I could bust out in about 15 minutes! I stamped the hoodie and the star from Melanie Muenchinger's Just So Sporty, added the star paper from the Rock Star pack, outlined the star with a white gel pen, and used some $1 star stick-ons. Card done. There's plenty of space to add a sentiment later when an occasion presents itself.

If you aren't a member at GinaK's StampTV, go join now! It's free, the eye candy is fab, Gina makes amazing tutorial videos, and there are tons of challenges and giveaways! You can use any stamps for the challenges and the winner of each challenge gets to choose a free GinaK stamp set! Yeah, it's awesome! And Gina frequently has extra giveaways, too! Seriously, join now.

And, the moment you might be waiting for ;), Lisa is the winner of my blog candy! Lisa, send me your address and I will get it out to you! Thanks everyone for commenting! There will be more candy soon. I have lots of stuff to share!

Blog Candy!!!

Whoo-hoo! Half the reason I wanted to start a blog was so I could do blog candy. :) It's just so fun to win something. So here it is.

The ingredients to this candy are a Unity So and So Loves unmounted single, Whipper Snapper Jackson unmounted stamp, Paper Pretties handmade by unmounted stamp, Lost Coast Designs unmounted frame stamp, assorted Papertrey vintage buttons, 3 things (technical term here) of ribbon, lavender Stickles, Oh baby! stamp, pearls, white textured flowers, Celebrate stamp, assorted Nestabilities Labels One cuts, and some Hand-Dyed Hobbies fibers.

To win, just leave a comment telling me one of your favorite things to make for gifts. Do you like to make bookmarks, 3x3 cards, soap, giftable cupcakes??? If you don't make anything, tell me what you like to get as a handmade gift! If you want to link up a project you've made in your comment, go for it! You won't get any extra points but I would love to see your work! :) Anyone can enter, only one comment per person will count, and be sure to leave me a way to get in touch with you or check back. This candy will be open until Sunday night and I will pick a random winner Monday! Thanks!

Emboss Resist Challenge

It's late, late, late so this is going to be fast. I know the second I get under the covers one or both of the boys are going to wake up! This card is for the emboss resist challenge on Nichole Heady's blog for the Papertrey 3rd anniversary shin dig. I got new pti loot yesterday so I stayed up ridiculously late to get a chance to play with it. :) Nichole has a great tutorial on emboss resist if you've never tried the technique. Good night!

PS: I was all set to post blog candy but my pictures were lousy. It really is coming soon.
